We have an exciting opportunity for someone to prepare and provide delicious cricket teas at our picturesque cricket club on Saturdays during the Summer.
Cricket is the only sport to stop for afternoon tea! It is looked forward to by all the cricketers, umpires and scorers and a lovely tea is always highly praised and gratefully received.
This role normally involves purchasing the food (required usually for 44 - 50 people), including buying loaves of bread, cakes, biscuits and fruit, preparing sandwiches with different fillings, laying tables, serving the teas (along with pots of tea and jugs of squash) and cleaning and tidying up afterwards.
We have a dedicated Tea House with a kitchen, dishwashers and a large tea urn, so all the food preparation can be undertaken at the Club if preferred.
The food and drinks are paid for by the Club and a competitive rate of pay is offered. Other opportunities for work such as bar work may also be considered.
Beaconsfield Cricket Club is a wonderful location to spend Saturday afternoons in the Summer, surrounded by friendly people and at one of the most beautiful cricket grounds in the locality.
The person we are looking for will be friendly, organised and reliable, and ideally familiar and comfortable with preparing food for large groups. Support will be provided to help you settle into the role.
If you are interested in taking on this role, please contact Eileen Daniel on 0771 928 7524 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details. I look forward to hearing from you!
