The Club is proud to announce that in September several members of the U15 squad will be fulfilling a dream held by most cricketers in the world - playing on the main square at Lords' having reached the final of the brand new Knight Stokes State school cup.

Over the summer Aidan, Jack, Harry and Toby and the rest of the John Hampden Grammar School side have battled through multiple rounds taking them from Chesham, to Oxford, then to Bristol and finally Wormsley.

On this journey they defeated Sir William Borlase, Chesham Grammar, Dr Challoners Grammar, Wheatley Park, Reading, Beechen Cliffe and QE Barnet.

Several of the games were close run affairs with the team defending under 100 twice (and nearly giving their parents panic attacks as a result), but as a unit they have come together through this and are preparing to play Altrincham Grammar in the Final.

All of this under the expert guidance of Simon Parbery who also learnt his cricket as a colt at the Club.
