A wide representation of the club with players, former players, groundsmen, coaches and parents from a variety of generations taking part, with some even travelling from abroad to make the day.
The rain just about held off, a wide variety of shots were witnessed but some impressive scoring was evident.
Last year champ Stuart Fyfe put up a respectable defence of his trophy with 38 points but didn’t make the Top 5 – Oli Smith and Samuel Strachan achieved 39 points but lost out on 3rd place to Tony Lloveri on better inward 9. Peter Strachan was second with a strong 40 points but was pipped by his son Nathan Strachan who won with a massive 42 points.
In the team competition there was some strong scoring with Tony Lloveri, Nathan Strachan and Perry Vala coming second with 110 points, losing out by 3 to the winners Peter Strachan, Will Midwinter and Barney Stay, who achieved 113 stableford points overall.
The longest drive on 17th hole was won by the “big hitter” Will Midwinter; luckily for him, it was not the 18th, where he peppered the clubhouse with at least a couple of balls! Mattias also learned that to win the ball needs to be on the fairway!
Nearest the pin was won by the “sharp shooter” Sam Musk on 5th with a stunning T shot
Hope everyone enjoyed the day
See you all in 2026
