
In recent news from the Thames Valley Cricket League and voted for by visiting clubs, our main square was rated NUMBER 1 against tough competition and over 100 clubs. Not only, that but our 2nd square was also ranked 2nd equal.
There was also no opportunity to use bumpy outfields as an excuse for fielding errors, as both pitches were rated 3rd best in the league.
Big thanks to Barney, our groundskeeper, for all his hard work in what turned out to be a summer of too much sun and not enough rain, making his job even harder. Also thanks to Simon Bradshaw for ensuring Barney had the resources needed to manage the dry conditions.
