On winning the toss and choosing to bat, openers Adam Francis (42) & Luc Walker (46) put on their second consecutive 100 run opening partnership as they gave the home side a solid platform. This was followed up by 23 from Jason Harrison and a very fluent birthday batting performace from Chris Thomas who finished with 52 not out from 42 balls as Beaconsfield compiled 205-4 off their 45 overs.
In the field, Jon Mahood made a breakthrough with the 2nd ball of the innings bowling Khan for 0, before removing Butt & then ex-Beaconsfield player, Hash Hussain to leave Stoke Green on the back foot. Despite threatening to get back into the game, mainly through a definant 70 by Desai, wickets fell at regular intervals as James Rendell picked up 2-39 and Jason Harrison 3-31 before Mahood returned to take the last wicket and finish with 4-31.
