BCC won the toss and elected to bat first. This was a fantastic effort and BCC posted 139 for the loss of five wickets off their allotted 20 overs. Fantastic batting from the start allowed BCC to reach their tremendous total and was initially credited to the openers Lewis Bishop (27) and Tom Bickley (7), supported by other magnificent batting from Callum O'Donoghue (15), Harry Cameron (44), Ben Monson (10), Joey Tres (14) and Kieron Roy (2).

BCC then took to the field and bowled really well, yet again with tight lines and good lengths preventing Wendover from making early inroads to the 140 runs needed to win. A really good team effort in the field with plenty of encouragement from all secured a 27 run victory. Wickets were taken by Taran Gosal (2), who bowled magnificently, Kieron Roy (1) and Sam Ing (1).

A special mention is made to Joe Harmen, an U13A lad who stepped in at the last moment. He bowled three exceptionally good overs and, although he did not take any wickets, he only went for 10 runs.

Another brilliant u15A effort that takes them to second place in league 1 with just the one game to play.

Really well done chaps !
