U10A 7 wins from 7 and Div1 South Champions

U10A won their last league match this evening to make it a perfect 100% record for the season. For the first time this season we fielded first which seemed to play havoc with the team initially with lots of extras and sleepy fielding. However, a couple of good spells from Laurie Gawne on his A team debut (2 for 9) and Jake Wilson (2 for 13) kept the Chesham score to sub par. The Beaconsfield batting was nothing short of excellent, the first 2 pairs put on 66 without loss in 8 overs and from there it was relatively straight forward, Harry Taylor scored an excellent quick fire 24 and Joe Harding and George McNally both scored 19.
